Bill became pastor of FPC in August 2005. He received a Masters of Divinity, Cum Laude from Covenant Theological Seminary in St. Louis, MO and holds a B.A. from the University of Virginia. Prior to coming to Faith, Bill served for ten years as an associate pastor in College Park, MD. A native of Pittsburgh, PA, he has lived in the Washington DC area for over 20 years, working in business for Bell Atlantic Corporation prior to attending seminary. He and his wife, Christa, have 3 children; two children in college and one in high school. Bill has coached numerous soccer and basketball teams for the Olney Boys and Girls Club, and he is a member of the Olney Rotary Club. Bill also serves as a guest professor for Reformed Theological Seminary – Washington D.C. teaching a course in pastoral ministry.
Christine Gormley serves as the pianist for Faith Presbyterian Church. She has enjoyed playing the piano since she was 6 years old and has played for several churches. She works part time in Montgomery County Public Schools as an elementary ESOL teacher. Christine is married and has two young sons. Before having children, Christine lived in or visited 21 different countries, including China and Poland. She loves to meet people who come from around the world both here in Montgomery County and also at Faith.
Kristen has served as the administrative assistant at FPC since 2014. She is married to James, a math teacher, and has three boys—so most of her afternoons are spent taking kids to basketball, baseball, or soccer practices and games. Kristen enjoys serving the Body of Christ in her role at Faith and looks forward to interacting with you!
John Boulden is a father of six who works at the U.S. Department of Energy and is a 32-year Navy Veteran who served on four submarines (including Command of the USS Los Angeles). The last several years he has served as the Team Leader for the church’s Short Term Mission Trips to Fairmont, West Virginia.
Dennis is the Chair of the Landscape Architecture Undergraduate Program in the Department of Plant Science and Landscape Architecture, University of Maryland. His teaching focus, over the past 30 years, is conservation and environmental based site planning and urban agriculture. He also teaches two study abroad courses in Italy and New Zealand. Dennis volunteers his professional services in an under-served community as an officer on the board of directors of their community development corporation. At FPC, Dennis serves as an Elder, Sunday School leader, and worship leader.
