Rev. William Sutherland -
Bill became Pastor of Faith on August 1, 2005. Bill received a Masters of Divinity,
Cum Laude from Covenant Theological Seminary in St. Louis, MO
and holds a B.A. from the University of Virginia. Prior to coming to Faith, Bill served ten years as an
associate pastor in College Park, MD. A native of Pittsburgh, PA,
Bill has lived in the Washington DC area for over 18 years, working in business prior to
attending seminary. He and his wife Christa have 3 children; one in high school, one in middle school, and one
in elementary school. Bill has coached numerous soccer and basketball teams for the Olney Boys and Girls Club,
and he serves as an adjunct professor for Reformed Theological Seminary - Washington D.C. teaching a course on
pastoral ministry.
