Worship with Us
Our worship services are Christ-centered. We have readings from various parts of the Bible that point us to an aspect of God’s character or theme for the service. We sing both the great hymns of the Christian faith whose lyrics and music have withstood the test of time, and newer music written by contemporary composers. We have several prayers, some of which we pray aloud together such as the Lord’s Prayer and others are led by the pastor or worship leader. Our worship services are typically 75 minutes in length.
What We Offer
Communion: If we are serving communion on the day you’re visiting you’re welcome to take communion if you have made a public confession of your faith and are a member in good standing of a Christian church.
Child Care: If you would like to use our nursery service for infants through two-year-old, let the greeters at the church entrance know. If you have children ages three through Grade 2, they are welcome to attend the Children’s Church service. Children leave the sanctuary for the Children’s Church service, midway through the worship service. A teacher will be waiting at the sanctuary door to escort them to Children’s Church but you are welcome to escort them yourself. A snack is served, so let the teacher know of any food restrictions. Please pick up children at the end of the worship service in the children’s Sunday school room.
Sunday School: Available from September through mid-June for children (nursery through grade school), middle and high school students, and adults at 9:20am. We believe that the Bible is relevant to people of all ages and places and we attempt to teach it and apply it in these classes for toddlers, elementary-age, middle school age, high school-age, and adults. Nursery is available for infants. Classes end around 10:15am.
Dress is casual for our services so don’t worry about “dressing the kids up” on Sunday morning. Just come and join us for worship!
